Dropbox Teams
In this role I work as a full-stack senior software engineer building products for Dropbox Business teams essentially to help people find teams they should be on and help admins manage their team members effectively.
The team I joined (Team Success) hit our revenue goals during my first year partially due to the projects I worked on.
As the most senior IC on a team of 8 engineers, and the only one with significant frontend experience, I have regular opportunity for mentorship and helping to shape the culture. One of my biggest impacts on our culture has been encouraging a campground mentality of leaving things better than you found them. Our team owns a lot of legacy code and thus we have to aggressively pay down tech debt.
Performance Engineering
In 2021 I became one of the founding members of the Performance Engineering team.
Our goal was to identify and triage issues with namely web performance, across the company. I worked on new performance goals company-wide for a more maintainable UX.
